Today the news team met for the first time with Mrs Meehan. The team is made up of year 2 children who are all keen to take on the role as budding journalists. Today the team decided on the name 'Stalyhill News : The children's news for you!
The paper will go out each half term and will be filled with facts, pictures, games, stories, interviews with staff and children and key events that are going on in school. Keep your eye out for our first issue next term.
At Stalyhill Infant School, we believe that part of our role is to nurture and develop the 'whole child', this means enabling our children to reach their full potential in all aspects of their learning, not just the learning that takes place within the curriculum.
