Welcome to the Stalyhill Infant School website. We hope that by exploring our website you will get an insight into our busy, lively school.
We are very proud of our school, and of its high academic and social standards. We believe that every child is individually important and our staff work hard to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reach their own potential. As the only remaining Infant School in Tameside we offer a unique educational experience, with a broad, balanced curriculum which is fun, practical and challenging and is suited to a range of learning styles. At Stalyhill Infants children enjoy meeting people from other countries and backgrounds, visiting places of interest, taking part in lunchtime clubs and becoming a member of our School Council.
We believe that the first years of school should be a positive experience where children enjoy learning and are prepared for the future, in a warm, caring environment. We expect high standards of behaviour and foster a respect for ourselves and others.
Parents are an important part of our successful school and we work together to make sure that the first three years of school life are a positive experience in every way.
If you would like to arrange a visit to our school, please contact us. We are always happy to show prospective children and parents around so that you can see our school first hand.
