We have really enjoyed learning all about Eid and Ramadan from our classmates and their families this week. 

They brought in books for us to share with the classes and told us all about why Ramadan is special to them and the ways in which they celebrate Eid.

We have loved hearing all their stories and finding out more about their culture and traditions.

Learning more about our classmates makes us feel even more like the family that we are at Stalyhill Infants and helps us to know and understand each other that bit better.

Just before Eid began, some of our celebrating families very kindly bought in treats for the whole school to share! You can see how happy and grateful we were to receive them on the photographs below.

There have even been treats, cards and lovely messages for the school staff from our families and fellow colleagues. We all feel so blessed to be able to celebrate with you!
