Effective Relationships

Although separately governed and managed, the relationship between Stalyhill Infant school and Stalyhill Junior school is strong. The Senior Leadership Teams from each school meet regularly to discuss continuity for the children, we follow similar curriculum and assessment procedures and share many key policies to ensure consistency for the pupils moving to Year 3.

Throughout the school year Infant and Junior school children interact, watching concerts and performances, and Year 6 often help with Infant activities.

Year 2 children will find that transition is carefully prepared with lots of opportunities to visit the school and meet their teachers before they move up.
