Fri 19 Jan 2018Weather
We are open today however roads around school are dangerous. Mottram Old Road is not clear and Stalyhill Drive has not been gritted as yet.
PLEASE only attempt the journey to school if you feel it is safe to do so.
If you feel that coming to school in your personal circumstances would prove dangerous to yourself and your child, please do not attempt the journey.
Children that do not attend school on extreme snow days will be given a Y code for attendance which will not affect their attendance record.
No late marks will be given.
We may need to get all children in to school via the front door as they arrive so please don't set off too early as you may be waiting around at the front of school.

Thu 07 Dec 2017Weather
In the event of severe weather conditions the following guidelines should be used in case of snow:-
Look at the School Website – www.stalyhill-inf.tameside.sch.uk. This will be updated on a daily basis to inform you if the school is closed.
Check your emails/text messages as a Parentmail will be sent out to keep you informed of the situation.
Listen to the local radio stations – Key 103, Tameside Radio.
We will endeavour to keep school open. However, our priority is the safety of the children, and if the conditions are hazardous or a number of staff are unable to get in, then we may have to close.
Important:
If school remains open, it becomes the decision of individual parents as to whether or not they bring their child.
If you feel that coming to school in your personal circumstances would prove dangerous to yourself and your child, please do not attempt the journey.
Children that do not attend school on extreme snow days will be given a Y code for attendance which will not affect their attendance record.
