Coronavirus Reminder
Dear parents and carers,
Thank you for your ongoing support of school during the coronavirus pandemic. We continue to do our best to keep our children and staff safe in school via the measures we have in place.
In order to help us all stay safe, please can I remind you that if anyone in your household displays one or more of the COVID symptoms;
- A high temperature
- A new, persistent cough
- Loss or change in the sense of smell or taste
They must seek a COVID test as soon as possible.
Also, once a member of the household has been for a test, all other members of the household must self-isolate until the test result comes back. If the test is negative, everyone can return to school and work. If the test is positive, the whole household MUST remain in self-isolation for 14 days from the onset of symptoms.
We have unfortunately had several incidences now where children have still been attending school whilst a family member in their household either has symptoms but has not sought a test, or has had a test and is awaiting their test result. This should not be happening and could considerably increase the risk of COVID-19 coming into school.
We are heavily reliant on our families and staff doing the right thing out of school to help us stay in school, please do your best to help us.
Many thanks
Mrs Lockett
