In the event of severe weather conditions the following guidelines should be used.

 

In case of snow:-

 

Look at the School Website – www.stalyhill-inf.tameside.sch.uk. This will be updated on a daily basis to inform you if the school is closed.

 

Check your emails/text messages as a Parentmail will be sent out to keep you informed of the situation.

 

Look at the Tameside Website – www.tameside.gov.uk to check if school is closed.

 

Listen to the local radio stations – Key 103, Tameside Radio.

 

We will endeavour to keep school open. However, our priority is the safety of the children, and if the conditions are hazardous or a number of staff are unable to get in, then we may have to close.
